Kay Brauer PhD is a post-doctoral researcher of psychology at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. He has studied how playfulness as a personality trait is connected to a host of critical topics such as creativity, humor, and wellbeing. He will present on how adult humor activity is connected to relationship satisfaction in couples.
Lauri Lukka PhD recently defended his dissertation from Aalto University. His topic was on the design and effects of Meliora, a new, game-based digital mental health intervention for depression. His research focuses on development processes, user-centered design, and effective engagement.
Leland Masek is a Doctoral candidate at Tampere University. He studies conceptions of playfulness and wellbeing from a cross-cultural perspective. He will overview how individuals perceive certain playful activities from their life are associated with their larger wellbeing.
