The exhibition lets you enter into the Christmas spirit with forest animals, jobs to be done at home before Christmas and the flurry of activity at post offices and Santa’s workshop in Korvatunturi. Activities that you can try at the exhibition include decorating a Christmas tree, writing a letter to Santa Claus, dressing up and having a Christmas picture taken or just sitting back and reading Christmas stories illustrated by Marjaliisa. You can also meet Santa Claus!

The exhibition is compiled from the original drawings in the Postal Museum’s collections as well as from the collections of the MLP-Fanit ry, an association that cherishes Marjaliisa Pitkäranta’s works of art. We would also like to thank the postal elves at Santa Claus’ Main Post Office on the Arctic Circle and the Killinkoski village association.
