The small-scale exhibition Brilliant Bricks presents the creations of LEGO enthusiasts on the third floor of the museum, alongside the Doll Museum’s jubilee exhibition.
LEGO blocks have been one of children’s favourite toys for decades, but they are also fun for adults. The world of LEGO is fascinating to builders of all ages and it’s easy to get carried away with the almost endless possibilities that these classic toys offer for both building and play.
This Vapriikki exhibition is produced in collaboration with Palikkatakomo, the association of Finnish LEGO fans. At the moment, it has about 50 members around the country, the youngest being 16 years old.
Palikkatakomo organises various types of LEGO exhibitions and is known for large LEGO creations made by many builders in cooperation. The exhibition in Vapriikki displays a large selection of LEGO constructions, ranging from miniature houses to fantasy heroes.
